The rise of Dalit entrepreneurship is an evolving story. Two important facts: a) the trend finds echo in Black capitalism of America under Richard Nixon. It's limited to a handful; most entrepreneurs are self-made; and b) despite the tall claims to wealth, the beginnings were humble and present for most continues to be small scale, and for many, discrimination in labour market continues.
